Accessibility statement.

Social Anchor is committed to making our website usable by everyone, regardless of ability, technology, or context. This statement describes the accessibility standards we work toward, what we have done, what we know is still imperfect, and how to request help or report a barrier.

1. Our commitment

We design, build, and maintain socialanchor.io with the goal of making it usable by the widest possible audience, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice recognition software, and keyboard-only navigation.

Accessibility is a continuous effort, not a one-time achievement. We treat it the same way we treat security and performance: an ongoing standard, reviewed regularly and improved as we learn more.

2. Standards we follow

We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines describe how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.

WCAG 2.1 AA is the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for commercial websites in the United States, by the European Accessibility Act, and by accessibility legislation in the United Kingdom and other jurisdictions.

3. Measures we have taken

Steps we have taken to meet accessibility standards on socialanchor.io include:

• Semantic HTML: the site is built with semantic, valid HTML, which improves how assistive technologies interpret structure
• Keyboard navigation: all interactive elements are reachable and operable using a keyboard alone
• Color contrast: text and interactive elements are designed to meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios
• Text alternatives: images and graphics include descriptive alternative text where they convey meaning
• Responsive design: the site reflows cleanly on mobile, tablet, and desktop screen sizes, and supports browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or function
• Readable typography: body text uses a legible font (Manrope) at a comfortable size with strong contrast against the background
• Reduced motion respect: animations and transitions are subtle and non-essential to comprehension
• Descriptive link text: links describe their destination or function rather than relying on phrases like "click here"
• Skip navigation patterns: users of assistive technologies can navigate by landmark, heading, and link

4. Known limitations

We are honest about what is not yet perfect. Known limitations on the current site include:

• Third-party embeds: the videos we display in our portfolio are embedded from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms. The accessibility of those embeds is controlled by the platforms, not by Social Anchor. We follow platform best practices but cannot guarantee that every embedded element meets WCAG 2.1 AA.
• Analytics screenshots: some images in our Results section are screenshots from analytics dashboards. Where these images carry meaning that is not also conveyed in surrounding text, we have added descriptive alternative text. We are working to ensure every meaningful data point is also presented as readable text.
• Captions and transcripts: we do not currently host video content directly on socialanchor.io. When we do, our standard will be to provide captions for video and transcripts for audio.

5. Compatibility

The site is designed to be compatible with recent versions of the following assistive technologies and browsers:

• Screen readers including JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver (macOS and iOS), and TalkBack (Android)
• Voice recognition software including Dragon NaturallySpeaking and Voice Control
• Browsers including Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge
• Operating systems including Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and recent Linux distributions

The site is not optimized for outdated browsers such as Internet Explorer. We recommend keeping your browser, operating system, and assistive technology up to date for the best experience.

6. Requesting accommodations

If you need information from our site in an alternative format, or you need help completing a task on our site, please contact us. We will respond promptly and work with you to provide an accessible alternative at no cost.

Alternative formats we can provide on request include:

• Plain text or large print versions of site content
• Audio recordings of written content
• Information delivered by phone or in a scheduled call
• Email or printed correspondence as a substitute for web forms

We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within two business days and provide a substantive response within ten business days.
